Shoot!!

Here we are on a warm, sunny Saturday exercising our second amendment rights and shooting the hell outta some targets.  Beth & Jared's kids are the cutest, most bad@ss little soldiers around.

Southsiders on St. Pat's

You can officially order and consome beer in Waxhaw! We headed out to the local deli/restaurant and now, bar on St. Patricks Day.  Even though the place was packed and  my living room is actually bigger than the entire place, the atmosphere was cozy and friendly.

One week ago today...

So, it was Sunday dinner, but not just another Sunday dinner.  There were go carts, dirt bikes, and even live entertainment. After all, when I guy named Coondogger comes to visit, it has to be special.  Unfortunately I didnt get any photos of the campfire songs, mostly because i was so enchanted by a song called, "Whisky for Breakfast." Who could blame me though, right? " Lord preserve us and protect us....she's been drinkin' whisky for breakfast." Fun st.uff. Let's just say I started last Monday with a hot fudge sundea for breakfast. A true testiment to how hungover I was.  Anyway, here's the portion I photographed....

I'm back.....

Where the hell have I been?? Great question. It seems as though wedding planning has consumed my every thought for well over a month.  We are moving along on all the details, and when I say moving along, I mean not moving along at all.  I've hit a stumbling block of  immobilizing idecisiveness. I cant make a final decision about anything and spend most of my time pondering and wavering in thought. So in an effort to change directions, I've decided to not think about it at all.  I have dedicated my weekend to yard work, animal maintenace, reading, drinking wine, and yes, updating my blog.  Here are some of my favs from the last month or so....
