Proud Aunt.

My nieces and nephew are visiting my mom this week for Grammy Mae’s summer camp. I received this gem from my mom this morning.  Now, my little sister, Sarah always claims that Lili is her little mini me, but I gotta say I think she’s throwin’ off an Aunt Liz vibe in this one…..

Our Weekend

Holy busy summer so far! Every weekend seems to be packed with one activity or another, which if fun, but exhausting at the same time.  I was so happy to have this weekend free to hang out at home with the boys and just do whatever.


We played with boys and drank wine outside….

We hung out on the couch…

I finally took some pictures of my finished window frame project that I blogged about in the post The Depot at Gibson Mill .....

I got caught up on my favorite mag…

I scored some more fab finds at The Depot .....Oh and just when I couldnt possibly love this place more, I find out that they sell beer. Heaven.

We ran, well, Ace ran.....

I spent time admiring my Shamrock plant. I bought it at Harris Teeter on St. Patrick's day and it's died and come back to life a few times, but I've recently spent some time trying to really give it a shot at survival and it's beyond amazing right now...

We did some thinking and soul searching....

And.....We ate a lot....

Ace tried to eat Chico, but this was in retaliation to Chico biting him in the ass...

We had to eat too.... Steak & Cheesy, Bacon Scalloped Potatoes...

True Love.

The Lewis’ are probably one of my favorite families to be around. They are genuine in both their love for one another and their loyalty to each other.  We went to their house for a long overdue visit this past Saturday and Sosha asked me to bring along my camera to try and get a few shots of their family.  I was so excited to be able to shoot something other than my little animal family and I knew we’d have a ton of fun doing it.  I am so happy to have had this family in my life and in front of my camera.
